WILD WOOD Previewing on Friday September 9 from 4 pm
WILD WOOD: a sculptural exploration of the wildlife and trees of Scotland by Emily Lewis
Emily says: “I am a self taught wood artist who loves nothing better than to handcraft beautiful, sustainable Scottish timber into artwork that conveys Scotland’s natural world.
Based in Falkirk, I use a variety of self taught techniques to gradually shape my ideas into life.
Through my work, I am particularly passionate about highlighting lesser known or misunderstood wildlife, but I also enjoy creating pieces that celebrate iconic species that have become entwined into Scottish identity.”
Emily will be here to chat about her work and her passion for wildlife and wood! Please join us.
The exhibition continues until Saturday November 5.
