Wednesday Woolover: next meeting Wednesday May 24 6.30 – 8 pm

Description

A friendly informal get together on the last Wednesday of the month to knit, crochet and chat! Work on your own project or create something for a rescue animal – yarn, needles and patterns available!

You are welcome to come along to one of the Woolovers – beginner or experienced, it does not matter – there is always someone here who can help and advise the novice!

We have a cup of tea (or coffee or even hot chocolate!), a sweet treat and a chat as we create.  We ask for a donation of £1.00 towards refreshments but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

One of our founder members, Nicky, runs a charity called Wool for Rescues which makes all manner of items for rescue animals (dogs, cats, even chickens!!) so you can join in with this if you don’t have a project of your own to work on.  We even make pompom toys for cats, which require no knitting or crochet skills at all.
