About us
Art & Craft Collective reflects the values of the nineteenth century Arts and Crafts Movement, which sought to revive the ideal of craftsmanship in an age of increasing mechanisation and mass production.
We love hand made, hand crafted and original work and that is what you will see in our Gallery – from painting to bespoke fashion to fountain pens and jewellery. All made by independent artists creating beautiful, original pieces.
William Morris, famously said “Have nothing in your house that is not beautiful or useful” and you will find everything in the Gallery is beautiful, useful, and sometimes both!
As well as displaying art we run workshops in art and craft skills from paper craft to drawing to jewellery making – please get in touch if there is a particular skill that you would like to learn, and we will see what we can do!
All our events are listed on our events page – or sign up for our newsletter to receive preview invitations and offers.
