Painting Clouds and Skies: a workshop by Craigo Art
We are delighted to present our first oil painting workshop, taught by our Collectivist Craig.
In this workshop Craig will share techniques to paint skies and clouds. Later workshops will cover other areas of land or seascapes so that you can build up a complete painting.
Edinburgh based artist Craigo largely paints impressionistic views of his home city. He also takes inspiration from his extensive travels around Italy. With a love of the Scottish Landscape greats he strives to capture colour, light and atmosphere in his paintings.
Craigo has a background in design, photography and marketing. He studied and worked in the South of Scotland, North of England and briefly in Holland before he fell in love with Edinburgh and developed his passion for oil painting.
Places are limited to 15 participants. All materials and a small canvas, as well as refreshments, are included in the cost, which is £35.00 per person. Please wear old clothes or an apron/overall to protect yourself from oil paint splatters!
